My Life Survey

About the project

Malatest International is asking people living in residential disability support services about their quality of life. The aim of this work is to give people a chance to say what matters to them about their life and their services.

The Ministry of Health asked us to do this project. We are an independent research company based in Wellington and Auckland.

Interviewers are doing face to face interviews in Wellington, Palmerston North and Auckland. If you live in a residential service for people with disabilities, you could arrange to be interviewed in person.

Doing the interviews is voluntary. People can choose whether or not to do them.

The questions are available online nationwide. The survey is as accessible as possible with multiple choice answers and places to type more information.

People’s answers will be used to make a report for the Ministry of Health in September 2016.
